FAQs

Good to know before you join

Do I need a membership to play?

Memberships are not required to book courts or to sign up for open play. Members enjoy discounted rates and the benefit of booking courts further in advance.

Can I pause or cancel?

There is a 20 day cancellation notice. Pauses are only for medical reasons with a doctor's note — email info@sideouttsunami.com.

How far ahead can I book a court?

Members book up to a week in advance. Non-members book from two days out, subject to availability.

What is open play?

Elevated drop-in play designed to connect players of similar skill levels in a structured, welcoming environment. Courts are organized by skill level, with games rotating through a designated paddle queue to keep play fair, active, and engaging. Whether you’re looking to meet new players, sharpen your game, or find your next competitive matchup, Open Play makes it easy to step on the court and play.
